Have You Beheld His Glory?

(John 1:14)

Have you beheld the Glory
O God's own precious Son?
Who came as human Baby
To redeem us, every one?
Have you worshipped at the Manger,
Where shepherds knelt that day?
What gifts did you bring humbly
At His Holy Feet to lay?

Have you beheld His Glory,
When He this planet trod?
He was so fully human,
And yet completely God.
He wept and He was weary,
Though miraculous His Power.
For us He bled and suffered,
Then died, that fateful hour.

Have you beheld His Glory
As He rose and lives today?
Do you sense His blessed presence
As you worship Him and pray?
You will behold His Glory
If you gaze into His Face,
And receive with glad acceptance
His wondrous truth and grace.
