Walk With Me

Walk with me, Lord, into this year.
With You close by I need not fear.
Only too well, the past I know,
But where my future path will go
Now only You, dear God, can see;
So walk these unknown ways with me.

Forgive me for mistakes I've made,
For Your commands I've disobeyed.
From past regrets grant me release,
And fill my heart with Your sweet peace.
Lord, make me clean, in Jesus' Name,
For this, our blessed Saviour came.

I'm grateful, Lord, for times gone by –
To thank You I can only try –
For families and loved ones dear,
And all that You have given us here.
As You were faithful in the past,
You'll bring us safe to Heaven at last.

So, knowing You are at my side,
And every need You will provide,
Strengthened by Your love and grace,
In confidence I then can face,
The future which is all unknown,
Because I shall not be alone.
