Where is He, Born King?
Where is the little BabyWho is born to be a King?
Could He be in that Manger,
Such a tiny, helpless thing?
The Shepherds found the Family
Just as the angles said,
Rejoiced and worshipped Jesus
In His humble bed.
And Wise Men who had travelled
Searching for a royal crown,
Their gifts so rare and precious
So humbly they laid down.
The Star which shone so brightly
Surely guided them each day,
For they would not have found Him
Unless God had led their way.
Yes, even in a Manger,
He was still the Son of God
And Divine the spirit dwelling
In the flesh that this earth trod.
And even greater wonder
Was the most amazing thing,
That on the Cross of Calvary
Jesus Christ was still a King.
Wherever Jesus enters
He demands the right to rule,
And joy is ours when serving
As His glad obedient tool.
So where is Christ this Christmas
In the life you call your own?
Is He still in the manger,
Or reigning upon the Throne?
